Sam and Fred Guillaume were born on 7 October 1976 in Friborg (Switzerland). They embark on animation in 1998 making their first film, The Little Penguin Who Wanted an ice cream. Excited by this first experience, the two brothers decide to continue their work and make genre films, scientific films and short films. From 2003 to 2007, the adventure of the first feature film with Max & Co (CH-F-B-UK) begins, which is distributed in more than 20 countries and in particular wins the public award at the Annecy festival. Parallel to the films, they collaborate on various projects of shows and installations, gaining public awareness through the The Magic Lanterns children’s club, organizing continuing training seminars, focal and guidance workshops and conferences. Very interested in new technologies, they like to develop tools to deepen research at the service of storytelling.
